Reservation & Dining Policy

Dining Duration

We are absolutely delighted to welcome you to Il Sogno, and we want every guest to enjoy a relaxed and beautiful dining experience.

As a small and intimate restaurant, our space is quite limited, so we kindly allocate dining times to help us welcome all our guests with equal warmth and care.

• Tables of 2–3 guests: up to 1.5 hours

• Tables of 4–6 guests: up to 2.5 hours

• Tables of 7 or more guests: up to 3 hours

If you wish to stay longer, please let us know in advance — we will always do our very best to accommodate your request wherever possible.

 

Celebrations & Cakeage

As much as we are overjoyed when guests choose Il Sogno to celebrate their special moments — birthdays, anniversaries, or milestones — we truly appreciate the thoughtfulness of bringing your own cake.

Being a small family-owned business, there are many little costs we carry to make your experience seamless, from storing and serving your cake to providing beautiful presentation and table service.

To help us cover these costs as reasonably as possible, a cakeage fee of $6 per person applies.
We genuinely thank you for your understanding and for letting us be a part of your special day.

 

Cancellations & Changes

We completely understand that plans can sometimes change unexpectedly, and we always do our best to be as accommodating as possible. As a small, family-owned restaurant, every table reserved plays a big part in helping us plan our day — from preparing fresh ingredients to scheduling our wonderful team.

To help us serve everyone smoothly, we kindly request the following:

• 24 Hours’ Notice:  If you need to cancel or adjust your reservation, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us to offer your table to another guest who may be waiting to dine with us. Late changes or no-shows may incur a $50 per person fee.

​

• Changes to Group Size: If your group arrives with fewer guests than booked, a $50 fee per absent guest may apply. We certainly understand that things can happen last minute — a quick call or message at least 24 hours before your booking helps us adjust seating and staff arrangements accordingly.

 

Group Dining & Large Tables

​

We absolutely love hosting larger gatherings and celebrations — they bring such beautiful energy to our restaurant. To ensure your entire group enjoys a seamless dining experience, tables of 8 or more guests will be served on our fixed menu. This allows our kitchen to maintain quality, consistency, and timely service for every guest.

If your group prefers to order à la carte, a 10% service fee will apply.
This small fee helps us cover the additional staff and kitchen resources required to accommodate larger groups while maintaining the same level of care, quality, and hospitality that Il Sogno is known for.

Public Holiday & Sunday Surcharge

A 10% surcharge applies on Sundays and public holidays.
This small contribution helps us ensure our wonderful team — who choose to work on these special days — are fairly rewarded for their time and dedication.

Allergies & Dietary Requirements

​

Your wellbeing is deeply important to us. If you have any allergies or dietary needs, please mention them when booking or to your waiter on arrival. Our chefs will do everything they can to cater thoughtfully to your requirements.

While we take every precaution, please note that our kitchen handles a variety of ingredients and we cannot guarantee dishes are completely allergen-free. Your safety and comfort are always our top priority.
